One of a collection of only three rare monochromes created in 2022.
In the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, this hub of local life is a triangle of "village" green called, "Parsons Green." This particular view is of the Parsons Green itself. It is one of a pair in the collection - the other is "Parsons Green Mornings".
"This painting was inspired by how the warm afternoon micro climate, made by the embrace of the trees and the softness of the grass, invites locals to take time to slow thier pace, relax with  picnics and play. I wanted to capture the magic of this place - harmonious nature and city."
The idea for a monochrome collection came about from how stunning I find the simplicity of black and white before I add colour and I wanted to share that.
